How safer local shopping will work

1. Verified sellersIdentity and payout checks before selling; extra eligibility checks for pickup.

2. Protected paymentsPay through Teibee's approved checkout. No off-platform payment demands.

3. Safer fulfillmentShipping is preferred. Pickup only at approved public, staffed locations during open hours.

4. Report and respondBlock, report, moderation review, and an emergency safety escalation process.

Our non-negotiable safety rules

No public home addresses, exact live locations, personal phone numbers, cash-only demands, off-platform deposits, isolated meeting locations, or unaccompanied home visits. No weapons or prohibited items. Pickup details would only be shared after a verified purchase and acceptance of safety terms.

For any immediate threat: leave the area and call 911 or your local emergency number. Reporting to Teibee is not a substitute for emergency services.

For sellers: local pickup eligibility

Local pickup would be opt-in and separately approved, not automatically available to every seller. Sellers would need identity verification, a safe approved public location, clear hours, tracked order handoff, and agreement to Teibee's pickup and conduct rules.

Before launch we must build verification, location privacy controls, protected payments, a moderated message system, dispute handling, incident reporting, abuse detection, and pickup confirmation. Safety policies and legal obligations need review.
